Toffee Apples

Ingredient

12 small red or green apples very crispy
4 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 tablespoons white vinegar
red or green food coloring
1- line 2 baking trays with foil ,Brush foil lightly with oil or melted butter.

2- Wipe apples well with clean ,dry towel .Push a lolly pop stick in each apple firmly into the stem .

3- combine water,sugar and vinegar in a large pan ,Stir over medium heat without boiling until sugar dissolved .Brush sugar crystals from sides of pan with a wet brush .Add food coloring ,Bring to boil ,reduce heat then boil without stirring for 15 minutes 138'C  ,remove from heat.

4-Dip the Apples one by one into the syrup to coat .Lift out and twist quickly to coat evenly ,Drain ,then place each apple on the prepared tray .Leave to set at room temperature .when set wrap each apple with cellophane paper and tie with ribbon .
