Short crust pastry

Ingredient

4 cups plain flour
250g chopped butter
2 egg yolks 
6-8 tablespoons cold water
   
1-  Sift the flour in bowl ,Add the butter and rub the butter with your fingertips until fine and crumbly .

2- Add the combined egg yolks and 6 tablespoons of the water .Cut with a knife to form a dough, adding the remained water if necessary .Turn onto a floured surface and gather together to form a smooth dough ,Cover with plastic and refrigerate if not immediately  required .
