ingredients
225ml orange juice
1 tbls cornflour
2 tbls soy sauce
3 tbls clear honey
1 tbls wine vinegar
1 tbls tomato puree
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp hot chilli sauce
1 kg ribs or chicken wings
6 spring onions
1. first prepare the marinade : put 2 tbls of orange juice in a cup . Add the cornflour and mix thoroughly . put the remaining orange juice in a pan and bring to the boil . Add the cornflour mixture , stirring constantly . when the sauce thickens , pour it into a large bowl and leave it to cool .
2. Add the soy sauce , honey , vinegar , tomato puree , coriander , cinnamon , ginger and chilli sauce to the orange mixture and stir to combine . Add the ribs or chicken wings and allow to marinate for at least 6 hours . If possible , leave them in the mixture
3. Heat the grill to a moderated temperature .cook the ribs or chicken wings for 25-30 minutes . turning and basting occasionally with the syrupy overnight
4. Arrange the ribs or chicken wings on a warrned serving plate and pour over any marinade left in the bottom of the grill pan . Decorate with spring onion tassels if you making them
